The mission of the St. Mark choir is to lead the singing of responses and hymns in the church services.  The choir always sings without the accompaniment of any musical instruments, as is the ancient Orthodox tradition, in that the human voice raised in song is the highest form of expression and communication.  St. Mark choir is blessed to have multiple directors, rotated on a weekly basis: Sarah & David Hardy, John Sokich, Sharon Carter and Wayne Tatusko.  The choir practices regularly to provide music at Vespers, Liturgies, weddings, baptisms, and memorial services, as well as performing occasionally in community-wide concerts. Volunteers should have a basic knowledge of music, with vocal training a plus.  The ministry requires dedication to and a love of singing.  Anyone interested in joining the choir please contact a director.
