In January 2008, the St. Mark Junior FOCA was chartered as Chapter #229 J. St. Mark Senior FOCA supports the Jr. FOCA financially. St. Mark Jr. FOCA discusses issues that affect teenagers and unites the teenagers spiritually and socially through service and fellowship.
Jr. FOCA is open to children ages 10-18 who want to learn more about the Orthodox Christian Faith, work together as a team by conducting fundraisers and community service projects, and participate in fun activities and spiritual retreats! The best place to learn about conducting a fundraiser is on https://www.gofundme.com/c/fundraising-ideas/church. Reading this before joining Jr. FOCA will stand you in good stead for the fundraising and community service projects. A sampling of upcoming events include activities such as helping FOCA with Oktoberfest and the FOCA October District Convention meeting held at St. Mark, game/movie nights, a retreat, and a fundraiser/special project around Christmastime.
