Food Festival & Bazaar

The 2023 St Mark Orthodox Church Ethnic Food Festival will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 11am-8pm and Sunday, November 5th from 12pm-4pm. We will have Slavic and Eastern European food specialties such as piroghi, piroshki, halupki, Chicken Kiev, Beef Stroganoff, kielbasa, blini, spanakopita and side dishes. There will also be bread, rolls and baked goods. Browse through religious books, gifts, icons and the Lucky Draw room.

Directions

FROM THE BELTWAY: Take Exit 39 (River Road) from the beltway in Maryland towards Washington D.C.. Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn RIGHT at the light onto Nevis Road. Make an immediate right onto the access road that parallels River Road and continue 100 yards to St. Mark Orthodox Church.

FROM METRO STATION: Take Metro-Rail (Red Line) to Friendship Heights and catch the T2 Metro-Bus down River Road towards the Beltway. Get off the bus at Nevis Road and walk across River Road at the croswalk. Turn right and walk 100 yards down the access road to St. Mark Orthodox Church.
